رواح رذیلہ کہ با ملک و ملت غداری کردہ و دوزح ایشان را قبول نکردہ
عالمے مطرود و مردود سپہرصبح او مانند شام از بخل مہر
English translation
A world rejected and repelled by heaven; Its morn is as evening, the sun is so grudging.
Urdu translation
یہ جہان آسمان کا رد کیا ہوا تھا ؛ سورج نہ ہونے کے باعث وہاں کی صبح بھی شام کی مانند تھی۔

This is couplet 8 of 17 in “رواح رذیلہ کہ با ملک و ملت غداری کردہ و دوزح ایشان را قبول نکردہ” (The Sphere Of Saturn: The vile spirits which have betrayed the nation and have been rejected by Hell) in the section The Sphere of Saturn, from Allama Muhammad Iqbal's Persian book Javid Nama (جاوید نامہ), published in 1932.
