رواح رذیلہ کہ با ملک و ملت غداری کردہ و دوزح ایشان را قبول نکردہ
منزل ارواح بے یوم النشوردوزخ از احراقشان آمد نفور
English translation
It is the lodging-place of spirits that shall know no resurrection; which Hell itself shrank from burning:
Urdu translation
یہ ان ارواح کی منزل تھی ان کے لیے کوئی روز قیامت نہیں ، جنہیں جلانے سے دوزح بھی متنفر تھی۔
About this couplet
This is couplet 9 of 17 in “رواح رذیلہ کہ با ملک و ملت غداری کردہ و دوزح ایشان را قبول نکردہ” (The Sphere Of Saturn: The vile spirits which have betrayed the nation and have been rejected by Hell) in the section The Sphere of Saturn, from Allama Muhammad Iqbal's Persian book Javid Nama (جاوید نامہ), published in 1932.
