در حضور شاہ ہمدان
می توان ایران و ہندوستان خریدپادشاہی را ز کس نتوان خرید
English translation
You might indeed purchase Iran and India, but kingship cannot be bought from any man;
Urdu translation
ایران و ہندوستان کو خریدا جا سکتا ہے مگر پادشاہی کو کسی سے خریدا نہیں جا سکتا۔(پادشاہی قوّت بازو ہی سے حاصل کی جا سکتی ہے۔)
