در حضور شاہ ہمدان
با کران در ساختن مرگ دوامگرچہ اندر بحر غلتی صبح و شام
English translation
To accommodate oneself to the shore is eternal death, even though you roll in the sea morning and evening;
Urdu translation
کناروں کے اندر رہنا مرگ دوام ہے؛ خواہ سمندر کے اندر ہم موجیں باہم متلاطم کیوں نہ رہیں۔
