صحبت با شاعر ہندی برتری ہری
اے کہ گفتی نکتہ ہای دلنوازمشرق از گفتار تو دانای رازشعر را سوز از کجا آید بگویاز خودی یا از خدا آید بگوی
English translation
Zinda-Rud
You who have wttered heart-delighting subtleties, through whose discourse the East knows all mysteries,
Say, whence comes the fire into poetry? Does it come from the Self, or from God?
Urdu translation
آپ نے اپنے اشعار میں دلنواز نکتے بیان کیے ہیں ؛ آپ کے کلام سے مشرق زندگی کے رازوں سے باخبر ہوا۔مجھے بتایئے شعر میں سوز کہاں سے آتا ہے ؟ خودی سے پیدا ہوتا ہے ؛ یا اللہ تعالے کی طرف سے عنایت ہوتا ہے۔
