مناجات مرد شوریدہ در ویرانۂ غزنے
ظاہرش صلح و صفا باطن ستیزاہل دل را شیشۂ دل ریز ریز
English translation
Its inside all peace but the outside all strife. The hearts of sentient ones all shattered to pieces.

اس کا ظاہر امن و اخلاص ہے لیکن اس کے باطن میں عداوت ہے؛ صاحب دل لوگوں کے قلوب اس سے پاش پاش ہیں۔
