دیدہ معنی گشا اے ز عیان بیخبرلالہ کمر در کمرنیمۂ آتش بہ برمی چکدش بر جگرشبنم اشک سحردر شفق انجم نگردیدۂ معنی گشا، اے ز عیان بیخبر

English translation

O you, who cannot see the obvious, open your mind’s eye.
See tulips row on row, and see their bodies on fire seemingly, but their hearts inwardly soothed by the dawn-dew’s tearful ministry – stars in a twilight-reddened sky!

تو جو (حسن) عیاں سے بے خبر ہے، حقیقت بیں آنکھ کھول۔گل لالہ کمر در کمر آتشیں لباس پہنے ہے ، شبنم اس کے جگر پر اشک سحر ٹپکاتی ہے، شفق (کے پس منظر) میں (روشن) ستارہ کو دیکھ۔تو جو (حسن) عیاں سے بے خبر ہے، حقیقت بیں آنکھ کھول۔
