ز خاک خویش طلب آتشی کہ پیدا نیست
نظر بخویش چنان بستہ ام کہ جلوۂ دوستجہان گرفت و مرا فرصت تماشا نیست
English translation
I have my eyes so fixed on myself that, although the beauty of my Friend has conquered the whole world, I have no time to look at it.

میں اپنے آپ میں اس طرح محو ہوں کہ دوست کا جلوہ سارے جہاں پر چھا گیا ہے، لیکن مجھے ادھر دیکھنے کی فرصت ہی نہیں ۔
