باز بہ سرمہ تاب دہ چشم کرشمہ زای را
آہ درونہ تاب کو اشک جگر گداز کوشیشہ بہ سنگ میزنم عقل گرہ گشای را
English translation
Where is the breast-inflaming sigh and where the heart-dissolving tear? Stones to hurl at the mirror of the knot-resolving intellect.

کہاں ہے ایسی آہ جو اندر کو جلا دے؟ میں عقل گرہ کشا کے شیشے کو سنگ پر مارتا (اور چور چور کرتا) ہوں۔
