حسرت جلوۂ آن ماہ تمامی دارم
نہ بہ امروز اسیرم نہ بہ فردا نہ بہ دوشنہ نشیبی نہ فرازی نہ مقامی دارم
English translation
I am a prisoner of no yesterday, of no tomorrow, no today; I have no station, high or low.
