یا مسلمان را مدہ فرمان کہ جان برکف بنہ
فقر بخشی ؟ باشکوہ خسرو پرویز بخشیا عطا فرما خرد با فطرت روح الامینیا چنان کن یا چنین
English translation
Give us poverty? Do it, but gives us Chosroe’s glory as well! Or give us reason together with Gabriel’s disposition. Do one thing or the other!

فقر دیا ہے تو اس کے ساتھ شکوہ خسروی عطا فرمائیں ؛ یا پھر ایسی عقل دیں جو فطرت روح الامین رکھتی ہو؛ یہ کریں یا وہ کریں۔
