با نشئہ درویشی در ساز و دمادم زن
عقل است چراغ تو در راہگذاری نہعشق است ایاغ تو با بندۂ محرم زن
English translation
Is the Mind thy lamp? To-day, set it out upon the war; if thy beaker Love? Drink wine with some trusty mate of thine.

عقل تیرا چراغ ہے تو اسے راستے پر رکھ دے (تاکہ سب اس سے روشنی حاصل کریں) ، اگر تیرے پاس عشق کا پیالہ ہے تو پھر کسی محرم کو شکار کر۔
