گنہکار غیورم مزد بی خدمت نمی گیرم
ز فیض عشق و مستی بردہ ام اندیشہ را آنجاکہ از دنبالہ چشم مہر عالمتاب میگیرم
English translation
The surge of drunkenness and love hath lifted up my thoughts, to where the world-illuming sun doth stare amazed upon me as I rove.

عشق و مستی کے فیض سے میں نے اپنے فکر کو اس بلندی تک پہنچا دیا ہے، کہ اس کی روشنی کے سامنے مہر عالمتاب بھی ہیچ ہے۔
