بگذر از خاور و افسونی افرنگ مشو
چون پرکاہ کہ در رھگذر باد افتادرفت اسکندر و دارا و قباد و خسرو
English translation
Mighty Darius, Iskandar, Khusrau and Kaikobad – all are a blade of grass upon the way swept by a passing wind, to-day.
