در معنی اینکہ مقصود رسالت محمدیہ تشکیل و تاسیس حریت و مساوات و اخوت بنی نوع دم است

بود انسان در جہان انسان پرستناکس و نابود مند و زیر دست

Throughout the world man worshipped tyrant man,
despised, neglected, insignificant;

سطوت کسری و قیصر رہزنشبند ہا در دست و پا و گردنش

Caesar and Chosroes, highwaymen enthroned, fettered and chained their subjects, hand and foot.

کاہن و پاپا و سلطان و امیربہر یک نخچیر صد نخچیر گیر

High Priest and Pope, Sultan and Prince– for one poor prey a hundred huntsmen took the field;

صاحب اورنگ و ہم پیر کنشتباج بر کشت خراب او نوشت

The sceptred monarch and the surpliced priest, each claimed his tribute from the wasted fields;

در کلیسا اسقف رضوان فروشبہر این صید زبون دامی بدوش

The bishop, eager for this abject game, bartered God’s pardon with the penitent.

برہمن گل از خیابانش ببردخرمنش مغ زادہ با آتش سپرد

The Brahman from his garden raped his blooms, the Magian fed his harvest to the fire.

از غلامی فطرت او دون شدہنغمہ ہا اندر نے او خون شدہ

Serfdom debased man’s nature; while his reed throbbed with threnody of his heart’s blood.

تا امینی حق بحقداران سپردبندگان را مسند خاقان سپرد

Until one faithful reassigned their rights to those whose rights they were, the Khaqan’s throne delivering into his subjects’ hand;

شعلہ ہا از مردہ خاکستر گشادکوھکن را پایہ ی پرویز داد

Fanned their dead embers into flame anew; raised up Farhad, poor hewer of the rocks to Parwiz’ royal height;

اعتبار کار بندان را فزودخواجگی از کار فرمایان ربود

Brought dignity to honest toil, and robbed the taskmasters of tyrant overlordship.

قوت او ہر کہن پیکر شکستنوع انسان را حصار تازہ بست

By his might he shattered every ancient privilege, and built new walls to fortify mankind.

تازہ جان اندر تن آدم دمیدبندہ را باز از خداوندان خرید

He breathed fresh life in Adam’s weary bones, redeemed the slave from bondage, set him free.

زادن او مرگ دنیای کہنمرگ آتشخانہ و دیر و شمن

His birth was mortal to the ancient world, death to the temples of idolatry.

حریت زاد از ضمیر پاک اواین می نوشین چکید از تاک او

Freedom was born out of his holy heart; his vineyard flowed with that delightful wine.

عصر نو کاین صد چراغ آوردہ استچشم در آغوش او وا کردہ است

The world’s new age, its hundred lamps ablaze, opened its eyes upon his living breast.

نقش نو بر صفحہ ہستی کشیدامتی گیتی گشائی آفرید

He drew on Being’s page the new design, brought into life a race of conquerors;

امتے از ما سوا بیگانہ ئیبر چراغ مصطفی پروانہ ئی

A people deaf to every voice but God’s, a moth devoted to Muhammad‘s flame;

امتے از گرمی حق سینہ تابذرہ اش شمع حریم آفتاب

The fire of God was glowing in the brilliance of the Sun’s sanctuary.

کائنات از کیف او رنگین شدہکعبہ ہا بتخانہ ہای چین شدہ

His fervour flushed creation all with joy; new Ka‘bahs rose where China’s temples once with idols stood.

مرسلان و انبیا آبای اواکرم او نزد حق اتقای او

And in the order of his chivalry they were most noble who feared God the best.

"کل مومن اخوة" اندر دلشحریت سرمایہ آب و گلش

Belivers all are brothers in his heart, freedom the sum and substance of his flesh.

نا شکیب امتیازات آمدہدر نھاد او مساوات آمدہ

Impatient with discriminations all, his soul was pregnant with Equality.

ہمچو سرو آزاد فرزندان اوپختہ از "قالوا بلی" پیمان او

Therefore his sons stand up erect and free as the tall cypresses, the ancient pledge in him renewing, Yea, thou art our Lord.

سجدہ ی حق گل بسیمایش زدہماہ و انجم بوسہ بر پایش زدہ

Prostration unto God had marked his brow; the Moon and stars bow down to kiss his feet.
