ابلیس خاکی و ابلیس ناری

فساد عصر حاضر شکار استسپہر از زشتی او شرمسار استاگر پیدا کنی ذوق نگاہیدو صد شیطان ترا خدمتگزار است

From this world’s clear violence the man is sick. The sky feels ashamed of her ugly tricks.
With a pleasing glance if you can behave, these satans in hundreds will be thy slave.

بہ ہر کو رہزنان چشم و گوش اندکہ در تاراج دلہا سخت کوش اندگران قیمت گناہی با پشنیریکہ این سوداگران ارزان فروش اند

Muggers of eyes and ears are roaming in every street and busy looting round the clock.
These looters of ‘hearts’ commit such a precious sin so cheap, and then sell it so cheap.

چہ شیطانی خرامش واژگونیکند چشم ترا کور از فسونےمن او را مردہ شیطانی شمارمکہ گیرد چون تو نخچیر زبونی

What type of Satan is it, which makes wrong moves; first it mismerises you and deprives you of ability to see.
I consider him a dead Satan, because he catches weak preys like you.

چہ زھرابی کہ در پیمانہ اوستکشد جانرا و تن بیگانہ اوستتو بینی حلقۂ دامی کہ پیداستنہ ن دامے کہ اندر دانۂ اوست

His glass is filled with such poison that kills the soul instead of body.
You can see only the visible net and the trap which he has laid; but you can’t see the catch that lies in the grain he has scattered.

بشر تا از مقام خود فتاد استبقدر محکمی او را گشاد استگنہ ہم می شود بے لذت و سرداگر ابلیس تو خاکی نہاد است

Since the man has slipped down from his position, his freedom depends in regaining the lost position.
But, if your Satan is of dust, then even your sin is tasteless devoid of fire inherent to act of committing a sin.

مشو نخچیر ابلیسان این عصرخسان را غمزۂ شان سازگار استاصیلان را ہمان ابلیس خوشترکہ یزدان دیدہ و کامل عیار است

Do not fall prey to contemporary Satans; they are ‘worthy’ of lowly people only.
For men with ego only that Satan is worthy who has seem Allah and is competent in his work.

حریف ضرب او مرد تمام استکہ ن تش نسب والامقام استنہ ہر خاکی سزاوار نخ اوستکہ صید لاغری بر وی حرام است

His strike can only be parried by perfect man; because (such a Satan) is proficient in Devil’s work.
Every man is not worthy of his catching string.

ز فہم دون نہادان گرچہ دور استولی این نکتہ را گفتن ضرور استبہ این نو زادہ ابلیسان نسازدگنہگاری کہ طبع او غیور است

Though the men inferior in nature won’t understand, yet this point must be said:
The egoistic sinful man won’t tolerate these new-born Satans.
